Visit the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome" to install Pinterest Copilot. The extension icon will appear in your browser toolbar.
Pin the extension to your toolbar for quick access. Click the puzzle icon in Chrome and pin Pinterest Copilot.
Go to Pinterest and start creating a new pin. You can do this by:
Upload your image as you normally would. The extension works with any image you're creating a pin for.
Click the Pinterest Copilot icon in your browser toolbar. The extension will open as a side panel next to your Pinterest tab, so you can work on both simultaneously.
The side panel stays open as you navigate Pinterest, making it easy to generate content for multiple pins in a row.
Select a writing style that matches your brand voice. Pinterest Copilot offers seven different tones:

Motivating and uplifting

Customize your generated content with these toggles:
Toggle on to add relevant emojis to your titles and descriptions for extra personality.
Toggle on to generate relevant hashtags that help your pins get discovered in Pinterest search.
Click the "Generate" button. The AI will analyze your pin image and create three different options for titles, descriptions, and hashtags (if enabled).
Generation takes just a few seconds. The AI examines colors, objects, text, and overall composition to create contextually relevant content.
Review the three generated options. Each option includes a title, description, and hashtags (if enabled). Click on any option card to select it.
Option 1 is auto-selected, but you can click any of the three options to compare them. The selected option is highlighted with a red border.
Copy the generated content to use in your pin. You have two options:
Paste the content into Pinterest's title and description fields, and you're done!
The AI works best with clear, well-lit images where the main subject is easily identifiable. Higher quality images lead to better descriptions.
Not happy with the results? Click Generate again to get three new options. Each generation produces unique content.
Experiment with different styles to find what resonates with your audience. "Professional" works great for business, while "Fun" suits lifestyle content.
You can copy the title from one option and the description from another. Use the individual copy buttons to create your perfect combination.
